Dr. Emily Jenkins Stopper is a West Jefferson, North Carolina native and daughter of Dr. Alvin P. Jenkins. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University in 2002 and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007.

Dr. Stopper is dedicated to maintaining a high level of knowledge and skill in the ever-changing field of dentistry. She does so throughout the year by attending advanced education courses presented by leading dentists all over the U.S. She is actively involved in local, state and regional societies. Dr. Stopper is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Stopper is also a certified provider of Lumineers(R) and Invisalign(R) and certified by the World of Clinical Laser Institute in Laser Dentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Stopper enjoys spending time with her husband, three dogs and chinchilla. She is also an avid knitter and reader.
