Meet the Team
Our team loves our patients and takes pride in offering them a warm neck pillow and turning on the massage chair for them. They are our patients’ advocate and are always concerned that our patients’ needs are met. They strive for comfort, convenience, and doing the things that will help keep our patients’ teeth healthy.
With over 30 years of experience as a dental assistant, we were happy to welcome Cindy as a part of our team in 2012. She assists our dentists during procedures, maintains sterilization, and ensures materials are stocked and ordered. Cindy has a special appreciation for the advanced technology used in our office. Her favorite is our 3M scanner since it eliminates the goop of traditional impressions!
Cindy loves being outside, whether she’s working in the garden, hiking, or drinking coffee on the porch with friends and family. She enjoys going to church, singing, and volunteering at the community care clinic in Boone.
A one of our dental hygienist/dentomandibular rehabilitation therapists, Cyndi specializes in periodontal treatment, TMJ issues, and TruDenta® therapy, in addition to all general hygiene duties. She strives to indulge her patients with exceptional care, comfort, and results with cutting-edge dentistry. With over 25 years of experience, Cyndi is great at building a trusting relationship with patients and seeing that their needs met.
Cyndi is a native of North Carolina. She is married to Mike and has two children and two step children. Cyndi is involved with her church’s foreign and home missions, and enjoys giving back through the community through Missions of Mercy. She also loves to shop and decorate!
One of our newer team additions, Erin assists the doctors with patient care and makes sure treatment rooms are sterilized, stocked, and ready to go. She loves helping patients and using and learning about the new technology used at Mountain Town Dental.
Erin is married to her husband, Brad. They love to hike and be outdoors.
Jason, our business manager, ensures that all aspects of the business side of Mountain Town Dental are working efficiently and properly. He maintains all accounting measures, marketing, human resources functions, and essential equipment as required. Jason loves being able to help support our office and maintain the reputation of the office in the community. As he will tell anyone who asks, “we provide our patients the best care and the best prices and they will not find a better dentist anywhere else!”
Jason married to Dr. Emily Stopper, and they have a daughter named Sarah. He has completed his MBA and is currently serving in the US Army Reserves as a Company Commander in a Civil Affairs unit after previously serving in Afghanistan. Jason loves fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, shooting, and spending time with his wife and daughter!
Jerry is our Office Manager! He enjoys meeting and greeting our patients and helping them receive the care they need. Along with the rest of our team, Jerry strives to provide the very best experience to our patients, from the time they check in to the time they check out!
Jerry's hobbies include hunting, fishing, reading, going to the gym, completing obstacle course races, and watching movies.
Working to make sure our patients’ financial arrangements are in order is Jo Ann. As our financial coordinator, she discusses financial options, files and collects insurance, supervises collections, and schedules patient appointments when needed. Jo Ann’s friendly manner helps to make all our patients feel like family.
Jo Ann loves spending time with her husband, Roger, and their family. The lights of her life are her grandchildren and she loves spending time with them whenever she can!
